Get Clarity on Your Student’s College Path Without Burnout or Guesswork
Preparing for selective college admissions can feel overwhelming, especially when your child is already working hard and doing “all the right things,” yet you are not sure whether those efforts are actually building a meaningful, differentiated profile.
If you are a parent of a high-achieving high school student and want clear guidance on what truly matters, this Strategy Call is designed to help you step out of confusion and into clarity.
This call is a thoughtful planning and fit conversation focused on your student’s unique strengths, interests, and next steps.
Who This Strategy Call Is For
This call is best suited for families who:
- Have a motivated high school student aiming for selective or competitive colleges
- Want more than last-minute application editing or résumé polishing
- Are concerned about burnout, stress, or lack of direction
- Value purpose, leadership, and confidence alongside academic achievement
- Are open to a thoughtful, multi-year approach to college preparation
This call may not be the best fit for families who are seeking:
- Quick fixes or shortcuts
- Checklist-based admissions strategies
- Essay proofreading only
- Senior-year application rescue support
My goal is to help families determine what level of support truly makes sense for their student, even if that means Spark College Prep is not the right next step.
What We Will Cover on the Call
During this one-on-one Strategy Call, we will focus on helping you gain clarity in several key areas:
A Personalized Snapshot of Your Student
We will discuss where your student is right now, not only academically, but also in terms of confidence, motivation, interests, and developmental readiness. This allows us to look beyond activities and grades to understand the full picture.
What Selective Colleges Are Actually Looking For Today
You will gain insight into how competitive admissions evaluate leadership, depth, and student agency, and how this differs from traditional advice that focuses primarily on accumulating activities and credentials.
Gaps and Opportunities for Meaningful Differentiation
We will identify what may currently be missing from your student’s profile and where there is the greatest opportunity to build a coherent leadership narrative using my purpose-driven SPARK framework for student self-discovery and leadership development.
Timing and Priority Guidance
You will leave knowing what matters most to focus on right now, what can wait, and whether this is the right season to begin a more structured, multi-year approach to college preparation.
Whether Spark College Prep Is a Good Fit
If appropriate, I will explain how Spark College Prep supports students through purpose-driven leadership development, sustained mentorship, and wellbeing-centered preparation, and whether that approach aligns with your family’s goals.
Clear Next Steps, Either Way
Even if we decide not to work together, you will leave with greater clarity about what your student needs next and what questions to be asking as you move forward.
My Approach
I developed the SPARK framework to help students clarify who they are, what they care about, and how to translate that into meaningful leadership over time.
For years, I have worked with high-achieving students to help them develop not only strong academic profiles, but also confidence, leadership, and a sense of purpose that carries beyond college admissions.
My philosophy is simple:
Standout Without Burnout
Students should not have to sacrifice wellbeing, identity, or long-term growth in pursuit of college outcomes. When preparation is aligned with purpose and agency, students are better prepared for both selective admissions and the transition into adulthood.
To ensure depth and personalization, I work with a limited number of students each year.
What Happens After You Schedule
Once you book your Strategy Call, you will receive a brief set of questions to help me prepare so our conversation is focused and productive. During the call, you can expect an honest, respectful, and supportive discussion about what will best serve your student at this stage.
My role is to help you make an informed, confident choice about your student’s next steps.
Ready to Get Clarity?
If you want to better understand what will truly help your high-achieving student stand out for selective college admissions without unnecessary pressure or burnout, I invite you to schedule a Strategy Call.
